Scott Nicholson's humble origins in Winner South Dakota combined with a thirst for knowledge have been a source of inspiration for his life as an artist. He has achieved a Master of Fine Art degree from Pratt Institute in the hot spot of the art world, New York during the 1980s. His Bachelor of Fine Art degree is from Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC which is housed in one of the oldest art museums in the United States and located within walking distance of the, White House, the Mall , the numerous Smithsonian Museums and the handsome Federalist Architecture of our Nation's Capital. His emersion into culture was a feast of learning and his quest to understand the human experience for the benefit of his fellow human being lead him to the healing arts in Arizona. His life and art are a synthesis of one persons vision of the world seen and sensed.
